Again this year, we will partner with the non profit Giving Back to help the homeless in the Baltimore-Washington DC corridor. Community Kids volunteers will stuff backpacks with winter supplies (hat, gloves, socks, sweatshirt, long underwear top and botttom.)
We NEED donations to cover the cost of these supplies. Each filled backpack costs us $25. Please consider supporting the homeless in our community by donating the amount needed for a homeless person to receive a backpack. Your generous donations helps the homeless survive our winter weather.
On MLK Day of service we will stuff the backpacks with these supplies. Volunteers needed. SSL service hours will be earned!
